As a Glo subscriber, you have the automated choice of getting your data subscription renewed each time it expires. However, it is not a mandatory choice when subscribing to data bundles in Glo networks. You have the option of choosing the “One-time” subscription option to avoid auto-renewal.

When it comes to data subscriptions with varying options Airtel is one of the networks that offer it. During data subscription in the Airtel network, you will give the option of auto-renewal or not.

If mistakenly choose the auto-renewal option you can it by;

Simply sending “STOP” to 141 through a text message

You can also send “STOPAUTORENEW” to 440

Any of the two options can cancel the data bundle auto-renewal.

For the Blackberry Plan data subscription. Send “DEACTIVATE” to 440 to opt-out of auto-renewal.

If none of the options worked, then call Airtel customer care on 111 for assistance and make sure you have some information about the data you subscribed to and your SIM card. Or send a quick message to Airtel Twitter account @airtel_care.

This is a data plan that grants you access to browsers and social media platforms. You can cancel the auto-renewal by sending “STOP+SUBSCRIPTION CODE” to ‘131’.

For instance;

WhatsApp Daily Subscription plan code is WAD. You need to send “WAD” to “131” to subscribe and send “STOPWAD” to “131” to cancel its auto-renewal.

WhatsApp Weekly Subscription plan code is WAW. You need to send “WAW” to “131” to subscribe and send “STOPWAW” to “131” to cancel its auto-renewal.

WhatsApp Monthly Subscription plan code is WAM. You need to send “WAM” to “131” to subscribe and send “STOPWAM” to “131” to cancel its auto-renewal.

Once you dial the above USSD card on your phone, every existing data bundle in your 9Mobile SIM card will be cancelled. It works for all data bundle plans within the 9Mobile network.
