THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW AND HOW TO ACTIVATE YOUR MOBILE BANKING
The below details are things you need to know:
First of all, you need to have a debit card that is functional. It could be a MasterCard or Visa card debit card.
Register your phone number with the access bank as your official mobile phone number.
Connect your debit to your bank account by dialing *901# the first time.
On the first time, you will dial this code you will be prompted to register your phone for mobile banking with two options either using your bank account or using your debit card.
To register it yourself without going to the bank you will need to select the ‘debit card’ option.
Once you have chosen to register the mobile banking using your debit card, another popup will ask you to insert your debit card pins and the secret pins. Once successful, you will be required to create 4 secret pins for mobile banking, I recommend using your Debit card’s 4 pins password as your mobile banking secret Pins this will assist to eliminate any sort of challenge while using the service.
Assuming you have successfully registered your debit card with access bank mobile banking, here are ways you can recharge airtime to your phone directly from the bank account:
Dial *901# with your phone.

A popup will show up with a list of options example;
1>Check balance
2>Transfers
3>Airtime
4>Other Services
5>Access Money

Select the option ‘3’ written ‘Airtime’ by typing 3 in the space provided for numbers and send it.
Another pop up will show on your phone screen asking you if you are sending the airtime to yourself or to your others. The popup will look like this:

Assuming you are sending the airtime to your mobile number then select the number ‘1’ option but if you are sending it to a friend or another mobile number that you own select the option ‘2’.
If you select option ‘1’ the airtime will be sent to the mobile number you registered with your bank which is equally the mobile number you are dialing the code with otherwise, the code will not work.
Once, ‘1’ has been typed and sent another popup will ask you to specify the account number you want to be debited assuming you are using two bank accounts.
The popup will look like this:

However, if you are using only one bank account just type ‘1’ and send. Otherwise, select the number that tarries with the actual bank account you want you to want to access bank to debit.

After selecting the bank account and sending it, another popup will ask you the amount of money you want to credit on your phone. Type amount of credit you want to buy without putting ‘N’ or any other currency tag. For example, if you are buying N500 airtime from your bank account just type ’500’ in the space provided and send.

In this case, the transaction will be executed without further popup showing but if you are sending the airtime to another number, another popup will show up prompting you to insert your security password pins for mobile banking before the transaction will be carried out.
