1440 birds laying at 85% will produce 1224 eggs per day. Divide it by 30(1 crate of egg)
That will give you 40 crates per day.
A chicken will consume 115g of feed per day. So, 1440 birds will consume 6 bags and 630 grams of layer mash per day.
LET US CALCULATE THE FEED COST
If a bag of layer mash goes for NGN5,300
Cost of feed per day= 6.630*5300 = NGN35,139.
Let us calculate the revenue from daily eggs sales.
EGG SALES
40 crates per day at #1,300 = will amount to #52,000. I.e. 40×1,300
Daily profit =52,000-35,139
Daily profit = NGN16,861
In a month: 16,861x 30 =NGN505,830.
Salary, Fuel, and vaccination cost #70,000
Monthly NET PROFIT = NGN 435,850.
IN 18 Months: the total net profit is NGN 7, 844, 990.
Let us even leave out the 844,990
Therefore, the total net profit is 7,000,000.
Remember that the spent layers are also there. You will use the spent layers sales to restock with point of lays.
